Beautiful food is a matter of design. It can be simple or complex - whatever you choose to make it.

I was brought up by both my grandmothers to believe that food was the soul of everything lovely.I learnt a lot of cooking at their knees, and  built on it as I went on.

I've come to realise that cooking is a little bit science, with a pinch of instinct. I now know that cooking is precise, but it is not exacting. Every ingredient is important, but something else may work just as well.

​

I follow a few simple rules and will be sure to point them out as we go.

I am not a professional cook but do love my time in the kitchen. I do hope you enjoy this process as much as I do...
